This exhibition, covering some six separate themes, is a colourful display of short biographies, illustrations, contemporary documents, mostly published in local newspapers at the Liberation of France. In addition to the importance of this exhibition as a teaching tool, it offers an opportunity to explore journalistic sources which are now too fragile for personal consultation in the Archives.

The Exhibition is made up of:

15 panels measuring 1.7 m x 1.2 m, made of stiff lightweight PVC, with corner holes for hooks.


Context and Arrangements for Loans

This exhibition was created for the 60th Anniversary of Universal Suffrage (Right to Vote for Women) in France by Hélène Echinard, Curator of these exhibitions.
